2/12 VIP Day At

PcD the beginning of the month and had an easy first
week to recover from the long trip and acclimate to
his new surroundings. Trained in 2:15 this
week. He is looking to qualify in late June
and John expects him be a nice NYSS horse. He
can follow other horses as fast as they can go, but
struggles a bit on the front - this should improve
as he starts racing.
5/25 - put in a really
poor training mile of 2:15, and was pretty bad
gaited. Will have the vet look for any issues
before training again
6/1 - Another poor
training effort, so John will look at some vet work
or perhaps giving him more time
6/11 - is lagging behind
the others, and may need some extra time to be ready
to race
6/20 - Broke a hobble in
his training mile last weekend. He will train
again this week and could qualify next week if he
does well.
6/27 - a few more poor
training efforts, so he is looking like he'll need
more time before he is ready to race.

5/25 - Still training
with the pacing colts. Went in 2:12 this week,
back half in 1:04
6/1 - was training
another real good mile, till the water truck spooked
him at the 3/4 pole and he made a break. John
isn't worried and he's still on schedule
6/11 - Rained out today,
but should train on Monday. Doing well and
should qualify in about 2 weeks.

more months of training. The costs we'd have
