Our final batch of babies is direct from George Teague's
barn
The response to VIP Stable's 2009 crop of yearlings has been
simply tremendous, and far beyond anything we could have
predicted in the current economic times! Many thanks to all our
partners who have gobbled up all but a few small shares on just
a couple of our original dozen yearlings!
With
our partners still looking for quality yearlings, we figured we
should give you what you want! This final selection of
four yearlings comes to VIP courtesy of trainer George Teague,
who has selected each of these individuals and already has them
training at his Delaware farm. Our Tom Janes went to visit
George early this month to talk about any yearlings George might
still have available, and came away with what we think is a
GREAT selection! All are broke and jogging, and doing very
well according to George.
For those who don't know George Teague,
he is probably the very best
conditioner of young stakes horses in the country! No
trainer in harness racing has trained as many Millionaires in
the past 5 years as George with an amazing 6, some of them among
the all time greats: Total Truth ($2,022,433), Western Ace
($1,729,717), Badlands Nitro ($1,554,638), Southwind Lynx
($1,448,501), Horse Of The Year Rainbow Blue ($1,428,934), and
this year's 3 year old stakes winner Mr. Wiggles ($1,041,547).
Simply put - if you want to race stakes horses, you want some of
your horses in George Teague's barn!
