We
are pleased to offer VIP Stable's first yearling of the
2011 season, and she's one near and dear to us.
McARIAT is a homebred son of top PA sire, multiple stakes winner
at 2, 3 and 4 and double millionaire McARDLE (2.455,609
1:49) out of our CAMBEST mare, Ariat ($42,510 1:55.2).
This colt is Ariat's first foal.
Ariat is a full sister to one of the VIP Stable's all time
greats, CAMELOFT ($380,869 1:53h), and a half sister to
other top VIP Stable performers LOFTY WIDGET ($337,607
1:50.3), NAUGHTY INDEED ($105,298 1:56f), and LOFTY
EXPECTATIONS ($41,212 1:57.3h).
Don't be fooled by this maternal family being so
closely associated with VIP Stable - this is a GREAT family by
any measure! McARIAT's 2nd dam,
Lofty Aspirations, has achieved more in the breeding shed than
all but a small handful of the very top mares, as she
has produced winners of over $1.1 Million dollars and her
offspring have visited the winner's circle a combined 114 time
and counting!
Because he is a homebred, we put McARIAT through a veterinary
exam prior to offering to our partners. Dr. Pete Sheerin,
DVM of Nandi Veterinary Associates reported "The colt is
in good body condition. He currently is about 14 hands high.
He is average size. He is a good boned horse that moves well.
There are no obvious conformational or other defects."
