How many times have you seen horses owned by The Burke Racing Stable, Howard Jacobs, Jeff Bamond, or our pal Larry Baron in the winner's circle?  ALL THE TIME, and particularly with claimers! 

Now it is time for VIP Stable to use the advantages of these big claiming stables!  What advantages?  Capital and Classification!  To be successful in the claiming game it takes Capital to go after horses who look like they have a big chance to win.  Then, you need to classify the horses you claim to ensure they have a huge chance to win every week!  

Why do these "Claiming Stables" succeed when partnership groups like VIP Stable and others have struggled to make much of a splash in the claiming ranks?  For VIP, it is because we Syndicate our horses one at a time, meaning every time a horse gets claimed away we start a new Partnership from scratch.  This has made it a challenge to be as aggressive as these other barns in classifying our horses.

VIP's new Claiming Partnership puts aside any possible disadvantage we may have had.  We are going to claim aggressively, and spot our horses aggressively!  When our horses get claimed, we'll take the proceeds and jump right back in to claim another sharp looking horse to do it all over again. 

We will be looking to have a horse starting every week at Pocono Downs, who has the best purses on the East coast for low to mid level claimers.  We'll be racing these claimers with trainer John Butenschoen who is stables right on the grounds at Pocono and won 19% of his starts there last year!
