Ed O'Connor  is VIP Stable's founder and the Managing Partner of the stable and all it's related partnerships. Ed is a lifelong harness racing fan and a CPA currently working in the TV industry. His goal in starting VIP Stable back in 1999 was to give harness racing fans the opportunity to own part of a quality harness racehorse without a large financial investment or risk.

Tom Janes is a co-owner of VIP Stable and its Marketing Director. Tom has experience with several harness racing partnerships and is also a longtime harness owner. Tom is the primary contactTom Janes in Stga Winner's Circle with Gemini Jon between VIP Stable and our partners, and is a regular in the winner's circle with our horses.

Mark Kesmodel - One of the leading trainers in New Jersey for the past decade, and third in the 2008 Trainer's standings at The Meadowlands, Mark is one of our main trainers for our upper level horses.  Mark conditions a stable of roughly 30 horses from his base at White Birch farm.

George Teague - Widely considered one of the very best trainers of young stakes horses in the entire sport, George Teague started working with VIP Stable in the fall of 2006.  George has conditioned some of the best horses of the past few seasons, including Horse of the Year RAINBOW BLUE, millionaires TOTAL TRUTH, WESTERN ACE, and SOUTHWIND LYNX and has captured such important stakes at the Breeders Crown,  Meadowlands Pace, The Hambletonian Oaks, The Progress Pace, The Cane Pace, The Hoosier Cup, The North American Cup, The Three Diamonds, The Matron, The Sweetheart,  The Woodrow Wilson, and many many more.

Bohn Butenschoen - Long time Illinois based trainer started with a few VIP Stable yearlings in 2005, and has overseen VIP's Midwest horses for several years.  John is best know as the conditioner of millionaire Plesac, and multiple stakes winning The Quiet Mon.  In the fall of 2008, John is moving his base of operations to New Jersey for racehorses and Florida for his young horses

Karen Williams - Conditions a mid sized stable of very high end horses - many of them also owned by Karen.  Karen is based in her home state of New Jersey and races primarily at The Meadowlands, but also competes in upper level races at Chester Downs, Dover Downs and Yonkers Raceway.  Karen is highly regarded for her top quality care of the horses in her barn, and her solid results on the track.

Julie Miller - An experienced horsewoman in her own right, Julie is the trainer for the Andy Miller Stable.  Julie and Andy relocated to New Jersey from Illinois in 2006 and have become a major force all over the east coast.

Tom Fanning - trainer for VIP Stable's New Jersey based string since 2004.  Tom has over 25 years experience racing at The Meadowlands and Freehold.  Tom has developed several stakes winning colts such as ARTSTANDING, SPOCK HANOVER, PACIFIC RENEGADE, and SILKS N DIAMONDS.  Tom is based at Gaitway Farm near Freehold and maintains a barn of around 12 horses.

Joe DeCarlo - After personally handling 2001 Horse Of The Year, BUNNY LAKE, Joe decided it was time to start a new phase in his career and left the John Stark stable to start his own training career.  Since striking out on his own, Joe has put up solid numbers and done a great job with a mid sized stable starting at Saratoga Raceway where he won the 2005 Peerless McGrath Award for up-and-coming trainer.  In recent years, Joe has shifted his base of operations to New York's Goshen area and has been a regular in the winner's circle at Yonkers, Monticello, Tioga, and Pocono.
